WHAT WE DO

Loretta A. Ross

Loretta Ross is an associate with the firm Myers Weinberg LLP. A member of the Hollow Water First Nation, Loretta practices primarily in the areas of Aboriginal law, business and commercial law, employment law, general litigation and child protection law.

Loretta acts as legal counsel to a wide variety of individuals, First Nation communities and organizations. She provides legal services on a range of issues relating to treaty land entitlement, land claims, self-government, child protection and business law.

Prior to joining Myers Weinberg LLP Loretta was legal counsel for the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs. While at the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, Loretta also acted in the capacity of negotiator and legal counsel in the self-government negotiations.

Loretta is also quite active in the First Nation and Metis communities by sitting on the Aboriginal Curling League executive, and is, as well, a steering committee member of Empowering Our Little Sisters.

Loretta enjoys spending time with her extended family, her husband and four children.
