Pierre Deniset

Pierre is a general practitioner who works mostly in the areas of real estate, wills, estates, and corporate and commercial law. He also does family law, estate litigation and wrongful dismissal litigation.
During the last couple of years, Pierre has become more involved in the area of administrative law. In particular, he has appeared before various administrative tribunals on behalf of clients. Further, he currently chairs hearings as a Deputy Chief Commissioner for the Manitoba Residential Tenancies Commission.
Being fluent in English and French, Pierre is proud of being able to offer legal services to his clients in both of these languages.
Pierre came to the legal profession following in the footsteps of his father, Louis Deniset, who had been a lawyer and had later become a judge of the Court of Queen's Bench of Manitoba.
Pierre was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1980, at which time he opened a small law practice in St. Boniface. He operated that practice until the summer of 2001, when he joined Myers Weinberg LLP, as an associate.
Pierre has lived in the older part of St. Boniface for virtually all of his life. As a result, he has often served on many of its boards and committees, including the St. Boniface Residents' Association and the Comité scolaire of the Division scolaire franco-manitobaine (DSFM), which is the school division that administers all French schools in the province of Manitoba.
