Priscilla Sternat-McIvor

Priscilla Sternat-McIvor is an associate with the firm Myers Weinberg LLP. A member of the Sandy Bay First Nation, Priscilla practices primarily in the areas of Aboriginal law, family law, wills and estates, and child protection law.

Priscilla acts as legal counsel to a wide variety of individuals, First Nation communities and organizations. She provides legal services on a range of issues relating to Aboriginal and Treaty rights, self-government, wills and estates, child protection and family law.

Prior to joining Myers Weinberg LLP Priscilla was legal counsel for the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs. While at the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, Priscilla also acted in the capacity of Chief of Political Staff and legal counsel in the self-government negotiations.

Priscilla is also quite active in First Nation communities by sitting on the First Nations of Southern Manitoba CFS Authority executive, and making numerous presentations to high school students and various organizations on and off-reserve.
