Randie N. Kushnier

Randie Kushnier is currently practicing in all forms of civil and commercial litigation at Myers Weinberg LLP. His experience includes residential and commercial real estate transactions, corporate and commercial business transactions, wills and estates, family law, personal injury and commercial civil litigation, personal injury and professional malpractice as well as commercial business law. He has represented clients in arbitration hearings, administrative tribunals, all Manitoba Courts, and the Federal Court of Canada.
Randie has made many legal presentations to the public on radio, and to groups such as The Canadian Guidance Counsellors Association, the Manitoba Teachers' Society and The Addictions Foundation of Manitoba. He has written the chapter on Legal Considerations for the Addictions Foundation's Student Assistance Plan manual for use in Manitoba schools.
Randie is and has been a member of many volunteer boards, and has numerous hobbies. A professional jazz piano player, for many years he played for the public and today continues to enjoy listening to jazz. He grows and trains bonsai, and has won prizes for doing so. He is a wood carver and writer.
Randie has recently published his first fictional novel, Tokyo Traffic, about, what else, a lawyer who takes a sabbatical in Japan to play jazz and the unexpected turns his life then takes. He is currently working on his second novel.
