Sheree Walder

Sheree Walder is a partner in the firm Myers Weinberg LLP. She has been practicing law since 1985. Sheree's primary area of expertise is family law, including: separation; divorce; custody; support and property matters; pre-nuptial, cohabitation and separation agreements; and adoption.
She appears at all levels of the Manitoba court system, and also has training in dispute resolution techniques. For the last number of years, Sheree has also acted for two Aboriginal child welfare agencies in dealing with children in need of protection, in both Winnipeg and in remote communities.
Sheree has also spoken on numerous occasions on family law issues to various community groups, and on the radio, and has assisted in the preparation of materials for legal education through the Law Society of Manitoba.
The breakdown of a marriage or common-law relationship is an emotionally and financially traumatic experience. Sheree strives to find a resolution that is least traumatic for the parties involved, first by attempting to find common ground that will allow couples to resolve their cases and, if it is not possible for a settlement to be reached, to access what the court system offers.
