The 2010 Mel Myers Labour Conference was the most successful in the history of the conference with well over 300 people attending at the new location at the Victoria Inn. We will shortly provide information concerning the charitable contributions arising from this year's conference. The Organizing Committee thanks all who attended, and especially those who donated their time.

The 2011 Conference will be held on March 10 - 11, 2011. Stay tuned for details concerning the special events planned to celebrate the 10th Annual Mel Myers Labour Conference.

The Annual Mel Myers Labour Conference is Manitoba's premier forum for bringing together union leaders and union-side labour lawyers to review and learn about current labour law topics, and to explore solutions to issues impacting the unionized workplace. In a "management-free" environment, knowledgeable individuals within their respective fields lead informative, hands-on sessions providing attendees with the necessary "know-how" and skills to help them deal with the diverse challenges facing unions and their member employees within today's workplaces. The conference is held annually and is a non-profit event with the net proceeds donated each year to a charitable organization which espouses economic and social justice and other worthy causes pursued by the labour community.
